IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elvis
Logan
August 9, 1944 – April 10, 2024
On Wednesday, August 9, 1944, a spirited baby was born to Beatrice (Carter) and George Pease in the quaint town of Yahola, Oklahoma. This exuberant baby girl was named Elvis Pease and she was the youngest sibling of five children: her sisters, Rosetta Pease and Georgia Mae Reed and her older brothers, Elbert and Erwin Pease whom all preceded her in death.
As a young lady Elvis attended Manual Training High school until her sophomore year and then she discontinued her formal education after meeting her high school sweetheart and cherished husband of over 60 years, Adolph Logan. Elvis and Adolph married in 1964 and bore three beautiful children within the blessed union. Her children, Alfred (preceded her in death), Daryl and Donna all looked up to their mother as she was the matriarch of the family, and she instilled unconditional love and compassion within her household. Elvis was a devoted mother and often took in other children within her immediate and extended family and lived her life as a dedicated homemaker.
At an early age Elvis surrendered her life to Christ and was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Summit, where she remained a diligent member until her health prevented her from attending services consistently. Nevertheless, Elvis held a close relationship with God and loved to sing praise and worship songs with her grandchildren and was well-versed in scripture and the word of God.
On Wednesday April 10th, 2024, Elvis peacefully transitioned to everlasting life while surrounded by her loving family. Elvis was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother to everyone she encountered and was known as a pillar of strength within the community. Elvis's legacy of generosity and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her as she leaves behind several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
