It was a marvelous, spring day on April 12, 1952, when a beautiful, baby girl was born to Johnny Morris and Pearlie Mae White in Bonita, Louisiana. They named her Emmagene White. Emmagene grew up and attended school in Merouge, Louisiana, where she attended St. Matthews Elementary and Union High School. She graduated with the Class of 1971.
Sister Emmagene accepted Christ at an early age, where she was a member at the Greater Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church in Bastrop, Louisiana before moving to Muskogee and joining Evangelist Temple Baptist Church.
In 1989, Emmagene moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma with her children, where she met the love of her life, Robert Armstrong. He helped her raise five children as if they were his own.
