Obituary

The precious gift of life was given to Nona Mae and Enois Scroggins, Sr. on July 7, 1950. That gift was Enois Scroggins, Jr.
Enois grew up on the south side of Muskogee and graduated from the Historic Manual Training High School with the mighty class of 1968. He also attended Langston University.

Enois was reared in the church and his anointed musical gift and talent began to show evidence at a very early age when he began singing in the church choir at Union Baptist where he led songs and was a sought-after soloist in the community.
His musical talents extended beyond his gifted voice, he was also a proficient percussionist, played the keyboard and guitar. After high school, Enois performed with a group called Uncle Remus in the southern United States.

Later in his life, Enois was called to preach and was an ordained Minister, involved in ministries in Oklahoma, California and Kansas. He produced gospel CD's and his gospel singing group, Enois and Family Friends out of Wichita, Kansas with many television appearances on Christian television programs plus they performed and traveled extensively.

A chance encounter with a young man from Paris, France would take Enois' talents in a new direction that gave him fame as a Funk Artist and gave him a wide fan base and following. Enois was known as an International Recording Artist and The Old School Brother, also the title of his first video.

The discography for Enois includes 9 albums; 4 Singles; 1 Compilation and I miscellaneous release. You can locate his music on YouTube and by Googling Enois Scroggins.

Early in life, Enois married Jean Crumpton and their family consisted of four sons, Steven, Jerron, Gary and Jeffrey, the marriage was later dissolved.

In October 2010 Enois met and married Virilyaih Davis also from Muskogee, and after a brief courtship they married on June 4, 2011. Enois and Virilyaih enjoyed eight wonderful years of marital bliss.
