Eugene Gilbert in his 78 ^th season quietly transitioned to Eternal Rest Thursday October 12 ^th , 2017 in Buford, GA.

Eugene was born June 2, 1942 to Dorothy & Roosevelt Gilbert. Eugene was was one of six children, 3 preceded him in death.

Eugene leaves to cherish his 2 brothers, Clifford Gilbert & Roy Lee Gilbert of Oklahoma City, OK

5 children, Gary Gilbert of California, Kenneth & (Michelle) Gilbert of Shawnee, OK, Stevie Gilbert of Ada, Ok, Steven (Neely) Gilbert of Oklahoma City, Ok and Shameka Gilbert of Buford, GA.

11 Grandchildren ,along with a host of nieces, nephews, additional relatives and many great friends.

Gene loved working on cars, fishing and hunting.

Celebration of Eugene's life will commence on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the most Holy sanctuary of the Bells Chapel Baptist Church.

You may visit Mr. Gilbert, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the funeral home in Boley on Friday from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
