On September 25, 1942 a bouncing baby boy was born to Carl and Modena Gordon Toles in Boley, Oklahoma. They named their bundle of joy Eugene Lavel Toles. He was the 4th child born to the union. He was baptized at an early age at Lane Chapel CME in Boley, Oklahoma. Eugene became of member of Full Gospel Non-Denominational Church in Boley.

Eugene attended Boley Public School and graduate from Boley High School. After he graduated from Boley High School, he worked for Lee Fact for some years. When things would get slow he would fine work in other places. He also worked in Oklahoma City and Stroud for many years. He later worked for Smokaroma for 30 years until he retired.

Eugene Toles married Pinkie Summers, a devoted wife. To this union, three daughters and one son was born. Married for 54 years, he was a devoted husband until his death. Pinkie gave inspiration, encouragement and an abundance of love and support to her husband. They shared for one another a special kind of love and devotion.

On the morning of Wednesday August 3, 2016, Eugene Toles surrendered to the call of his Heavenly father. He was preceded in death by his mother Modena Toles, father Carl Toles, Sr., daughter Caroline Joseph, son Eugene Toles, Jr., four brothers, Wayne, William, Sr., Robert, Carl, Jr., two sisters, Alma and Alice.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Pinkie Toles, two daughters: Shirley Reynolds (Homer), Midwest City, OK, Janine Toles (Eudell Marzett, Jr.), Boley, OK, his siblings: Wilma Rodgers, James Toles, Margaret Banks, Doris Overstreet, Gloria LuGrand, Sharon Jama, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Services for Mr. Eugene L. Toles, Sr. will be Saturday August 11, 2016 at 11AM at Full Gospel Non Denominational Church in Boley.

Interment will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
Friends may visit Mr. Toles on Friday from 1PM until 6PM in Boley.
