Mrs. Eunice Cora Collins, in her 89th year, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from her home in Okmulgee.
Eunice Cora Collins was born December 28, 1924 in Nuyaka, Oklahoma to Riley and Florence [Fisher] Collins. She was the fourth of thirteen children. She grew up in Nuyaka, attended and graduated from Wheatley High School as an Honors student and valedictorian. She was married to Jimmie Hendrix. As a result of this union, five children were born: Jimmie Jr., Carol, Paul, Lynda, and LoAster.
Eunice received the Lord at an early age. She was a woman of unshakable faith and a member of the First United Holiness Church until the Lord called her home. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie, as well as her son Jimmie Jr and daughter Carol.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her daughters Lynda and LoAster of Okmulgee, OK, Paul (Janetta) of Sacremento, CA; her brothers Finuel and Elder M.J. Collins of Okmulgee, OK, Elder D.L. Collins of Tulsa, OK; and her sisters Aquilla Kimble of Okmulgee, OK and Naomi Johnson, Arizona; ten grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, relatives, and friends.

The Sacred Farewell will be shared on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the First United Holiness Church in Okmulgee.
Burial will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery.
