Ms. Eva Mae Grant, in her 74th year, left this life for a life eternal on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

She was born in Wetumka, Oklahoma on March 12, 1940, the daughter of Howard Sanders and Tennie Cummings. Eva attended Okmulgee Public Schools and earned her Nursing Degree in Fort Worth, Texas. She was employed by the Reach Corporation as a Certified Medication Aid.

At a young age, Eva Mae accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at the Church of the Living God in Okmulgee. She lived a full and rich life, always busy with her career, family and friends.

Ms. Grant was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Shade Webb, 2 grandchildren, Cody Ware and Twila Hall, a daughter, Janice Grant, a sister, Betty Cohen and her mother, Tennie Bell.

She leaves to cherish her memory; 5 children, Edward Grant, James Grant, Jr., Steven Grant, all of Okmulgee, Vincent Sanders, Little Rock, Arkansas and Angela [James] Davis, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Hazel Johnson, Pahrump, Nevada and Bessie Mae Thomas, Tecumseh, Oklahoma; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her services will be Wednesday March 4, 2014 at 2PM inside Biglow's Chapel of Peace in Okmulgee.

Friends may visit Ms. Grant on Tuesday from 4PM until 6PM in Okmulgee.
