Ms. Faye Anna Richmond, in her 73rd year, passed from this life on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Faye Anna Richmond was born on February 5, 1945 from the union of Claude and Dolly [Thompson] Sheppard.  She was born in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, where she attended school at Fort Gibson High School.

She loved watching OU football and going fishing, digging wild onions and baking raisin pies.  But most of all, she loved her family.  She was a loving and caring person, always trying to help somebody in need.

Mrs. Richmond was preceded in death by her father, Claude Sheppard, Sr., and her mother, Dolly Sheppard, her son, Brian Shields and her sisters, Anne Mae Sheppard, Marva Robinson, Tommy Mae Sheppard, Jean Jackson and her sister-in-law, Rachel Sheppard.

She is leaving to mourn her death;  her children, Candace Shields, Jerome Shields and Troy Shields;  her siblings, Maurice Sheppard and Vernice Lowe;  seven grandchildren;  nine great-grandchildren; and a caravan of nieces, nephews and friends.

She is asleep in death, until Jehovah's God calls her to awakening.

A Memorial Ceremony will be shared on Friday morning, February 1, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in the People's Chapel of the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., in Muskogee.  Reverend Walter Brown, Jr., will officiate.
