God's greatest gift of life was given on May 23, 1937 in Wichita, Kansas to Leonard Caw and Lucille Atkinson. They named their new gift Flora. Flora would go on to graduate from Wichita East High School with the class of 1955. She later met and married Alvin O.C. Chaplin.
She loved spending time with her family, shopping and traveling. For 20 years she served as a very loyal employee at St. Francis Hospital where she retired from. Preceding her in death are her parents, her loving husband, brother Clarence, and her sister Ruby Cole.
Her memories will forever be in the hearts and mind of her four wonderful children: Aaron Chaplin (Linda), California City, California, Kaye, Kerry, and Carlotta Chaplin, all of Tulsa, OK., one God-daughter, Regina Johnson, eleven grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, brothers: Lawrence J. Caw, Washington, D.C., Franklin Caw, Wichita, KS., and Michael D. Caw, Wichita, KS., along with a host of relatives and friends.
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
Revelation 21:4
