Obituary
Ms. Flora D. Ridgel, after 61 years, surrendered her soul to Jesus on Wednesday morning, February 6, 2013 from her home in Muskogee.
Flora Ridgel was born on May 22, 1951 to the late Evander and Rosetta Ridgel, .
Flora, also lovingly referred to as "Flo," had the most giving heart. Her purpose on this earth was well served, as she has touched so many throughout the years. She not only cared deeply for her family, but also had a huge heart for others. She spent much of her life working in nursing homes and providing assistance to the elderly as well as the physical and mentally disabled in Muskogee. She will truly be missed!
She is survived by her daughter Paula Ridgel of San Antonio Texas, who is currently serving in the United States Air Force, three sons, LeRoy Ridgel of San Antonio, Texas also serving in the United States Air Force, Kory and Kedrick Williams of Muskogee; one grandson, Cameron; three sisters, Bobrie Ridgel of St Louis, MO, Charlene Windom of Little Rock, AR and Ernestine Giles of Dermott, AR and one brother, Jesse Ridgel, Sr. of East St Louis, IL.
Her eldest sister and brother, Armelia Caldwell and E.B. Ridgel, both of Muskogee, OK preceded her in death.
