Mr. Floyd Douglas Price III "Finished Early" in His Race for Life on Friday July 8, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On August 9th, 1982 in Tulsa, OK a beautiful baby boy was born to the proud parents of Floyd Jr. and Sherron Price. They named him Floyd Douglas Price III. Everyone affectionately called him "Dougie".

Floyd accepted Christ at an early age at Holsey Chapel Episcopal Church under the pastoralship of Reverend Barnett. A man full of life, Floyd will be remembered for his kind , giving spirit. He met no strangers and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Floyd enjoyed being around his family and friends. He loved cars, eating, video games, basketball, dancing, friends laughing and being a jokester with family and friends.

Floyd attended Varick Pre-K School, Walt Whitman Elementary School, and Thomas Edison Middle School. He graduated from Thomas Edison Preparatory High School, C/O 2000, where he was a member of the ROTC Military program.

A skillful, hardworking man, Floyd was employed at Whirlpool Corporation as a Technician. He was currently employed at Navistar Corporation.

Preceding him in death are: His grand-parents Floyd Price Sr. and Ruth Price; great grand-parents Earnest and Dorethea Marshall. Those left to cherich his memories: Parents Floyd and Sherron Price, Grandmother Mattie Lee Marshall, Grandfather Willis Harris Jr.; Aunts Shonna A. Marshal, Carolyn (Gregory) Johnson; Uncle Donald Lee Marshall.
Special Cousins: Tiffany Johnson, Gregory (Regency) Johnson, Johnny Deon Goff, Searcy, Shelby, Dezmon and Zachauri Allen, Eboney Scott and Christopher.  Special Friends: Samuel, Kyle, Telon, Keke, Chavack, Juwan and Kendrick. Along with a host of Great Aunts and Uncles, cousins, relatives and a Caravan of Friends.

Services for Mr. Floyd Douglas Price, III will be Saturday July 15, 2017 at 1PM at Morning Star Baptist Church in Tulsa.

Friends may visit Mr. Price on Friday from 10AM until 5:30PM in the Tulsa Chapel.

A wake will be held at 6PM inside The Tulsa Chapel.
