Ms. Francis Mondaine-Gist, after 46 years with us, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 10, 2017 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Francis Oris Mondaine Gist was born October 23, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Mr. & Mrs. Robert and Julia Mondaine. She was the last of three children to the union. Francis Oris Mondaine-Gist had one brother: Robert Mondaine Jr. and one sister: LaSandra Steele.

Francis graduated from Muskogee High School Class with the Proud Class of 1989. She had worked for the Superior Linen Cleaning Service for a number of years and she loved to spend time with her close family and genuine friends. Francis was very outspoken; you always knew exactly how she felt. Throughout everything she went through, she kept a smile on her face and would always remind us to give it to the Lord.

Remaining here to cherish her memory;  her parents: Robert Mondaine, Sr. and Julia Mondaine; Her husband: Antwone Gist; Her four children: Deandre Mondaine, Antwone Gist Jr., An'Shanique Mondaine, and Antwonette Mondaine; Her siblings: Robert Mondaine Jr. and Lasandra Steele;  Her grandchildren: Jaci'Nique, Q'Aryen, Angel'nique Anderson, Jazlyn Anderson, Dezreonn Anderson, and Keandre Mondaine; Her extra, special friends: Traci Ledbetter, Donna McDaniel, and Kashika Thomas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.

Her Tribute will commence on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the most holy sanctuary of Harvest Ministries, 2200 East Okmulgee Avenue in Muskogee. Pastor Lester Beasley is the gracious host Pastor and Pastor Sedell Campbell, Pastor of New Balm Ministries will Preside.

The Christian Committal will follow in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee.

You may visit Francis, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
