Mr. Fred Reagan, Jr., age 76 and a resident of Kansas City, MO, went to be with our Lord on Dec. 4, 2008 after a lengthy illness.

A beloved Father, Grandfather and Great-grandfather, he was born in Okmulgee, OK on Dec. 23, 1931. He was a lifelong member of the Constructiona nd General Laborers Local 264, becoming a member in 1953. He served as a Field Representative from June 1976 to January 1982, when he was appointed to Business Manager and remained in this office until his retirement in 1985.

He was a member of the Catholic Church and attended St. Therese Parish in Kansas City. He was an avid fisherman and gardener.


Mr. Reagan was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Reagan, Sr., and Luella Goudeau Reagan, his first wife, Sylvia Robinson and his oldest son, Fred Reagan, III.


He is survived by his children; Anthony Reagan and wife Rachel, Maria Ellison and husband Rodney and Joseph Reagan; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Susan White, Fredetta Jones and Juanita Johnson; his brothers, Carl Reagan and Jerry Reagan; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

A Wake will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Lawrence A. Jones Funeral Home in Kansas City. Visitation in Okmulgee will be on Wednesday from 12 Noon to 6 PM at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Okmulgee.

The funeral Mass will be on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the Uganda Martyr's Catholic Church. Father Benjamin Vima, Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery.
