Mr. Frederick Douglas McCrary, Sr., a resident of Okmulgee, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from his home in Okmulgee.

Referred to as "Fred" or "Freddie" by family and friends, he was born in Detroit, Michigan but grew up in Bristow, Oklahoma. He attended school there, graduating from Bristow High School with the Class of 1966.

He served his Country Honorably in the United States Air Force and worked as a Security Guard for University Center at Tulsa and also Oklahoma State University-Okmulgee.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Deborah McCrary, Okmulgee; his sons, Frederick "Eric" Douglas McCrary, Jr., and wife Marlo, Wichita, Kansas and Shawn Garrick McCrary and wife Lynn, Okmulgee; his father, Otis C. McCrary and wife Frances, Detroit, Michigan; brothers, Marcus McCrary and wife Twindal, Atlanta, Georgia, Michael McCrary and wife Shadricka, and Marshall McCrary, all of Detroit, Michigan; 4 grandchildren; other
