Obituary

Gail Diane Cole-Penn was born on August 12, 1954 in Beggs, Oklahoma, the daughter of Ervin and Salina Particia Cole. She was the 6th and only girl of that union. she attended Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, graduating with the Class of 1972.

At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized. Gail knew the Lord and understood the love of God and how He looks beyond our faults and meets our needs. Her favorite songs were "tell the Angels" and "I'm going up yonder." She was a fun loving woman and a friendly person whose smile touched the hearts of many. She was very caring, loved to cook, and loved to make people laugh. She was a very strong woman who loved her family and was the loving mother of two children.

On Sunday, March 26, 200, Gail received the summons no one can refuse, and now she rests in the Arms of Jesus. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Larry, Ervin, Jr., and John Anthony Cole along with two sisters, Terie and Anita Cole.

Gail leaves to cherish her memory; a son, Shannon Mays, Arlington, TX; a daughter, Rodshell Nicole Mays; grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Kim; her brothers, Clarence, Ronnie, Ricky, Charles, Bobby, Sherman, Terry, Sterling, Roland, elvin and ReecoCole; her sisters, Helen, Deborah, Ervina, Lenora, Michelle, Ann, Denice, Kim and Natalie Cole; along with other relatives and friends.

The last farewell held on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Full Gospel Outreach Ministries. Bishop Harold Jones, Senior Pastor, Officiated. Burial followed in Tuskegee Cemetery at Edna, Oklahoma.
