Obituary

A gorgeous baby girl named Gail Doris was born on March 18, 1956. She was the 3rd child of Eddie Lee Daniels and Lottie Ruth Neale Chilliest. She transitioned to glory on Saturday, April 4, 2020.

Gail enjoyed spending summers with her maternal grandmother, Elzora Tillman Neale on the family land in Bigelow, Arkansas. Her grandmother whom she affectionally called Big Mama taught her how cook, quilt and sew.

Gail graduated from James Madison High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in January 1974. At the age of 18, Gail gave her life to Christ and married the love of her life, Leroy Thompson on July 27, 1974. Nine children were born from this union.

Gail along with her husband relocated to Summit, Oklahoma in 1975. She praised and worshiped God at The House of Deliverance Church. She has served in many capacities but was currently serving as the Assistant Pastor under the leadership of Pastor Wayne and First lady Jessie Neale.
Sister Gail was indeed a virtuous woman. She loved being a homemaker for 22 years and some would say she spoiled all nine of her children. She was an excellent seamstress. She challenged herself in doing what she called "experimenting" and designed wedding, prom and Easter dresses, tuxedos, curtains, pillows, pajamas, African attire, baby clothes, blankets, coats, gloves, hats and lace socks. She even designed couch slip covers and upholstered furniture. She's made clothes that were shipped to Barbados and pillowcase dresses that were taken to Uganda, Africa.
Twenty years after high school, Sister Gail enrolled at Connors State College. She was determined that she wasn't going to let all of those young minds outsmart her. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Connors State College and later graduated with honors with a Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science from Northeastern State University. Sister Gail was a Nutrition Instructor for Connors State College from 2004 to 2016. Gail was passionate about teaching and she loved sharing about her big family to her students.

Sister Gail was a prayer warrior. She was full of love, wisdom and compassion. Her beautiful smile was contagious and she would kiss and hug anyone who would let her. Sister Gail was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Elzora Tillman Neale, mother-in-law, Thelma Rogers, mother, Lottie Ruth Neale Chilliest, son, James Gabriel Thompson and grandson, Tylan Lee
