IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Galan
Landrum
March 13, 1970 – March 6, 2022
On March 13, 1970, at 2:03 PM, in Tulsa Oklahoma, Leoma and Lorenzo Landrum welcomed a precious baby boy into the world. They named him Galan Cornell Landrum.
Galan excepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.
Galan attended the Beggs public school system. He graduated with the Beggs High School class of 1988. While in school, Galan loved participating in extra curricular activities. He played on the basketball, softball, and track teams.
After graduating high school, Galan attended Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he studied electrical engineering. Galan was very loving with a quiet, unassuming manner. Everyone loved his uncanny way of saying something quite funny while maintaining a calm facial expression, as if he had not said anything. He was the apple of his nieces' eyes and, and they shared a very special relationship. He is greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Galan met Shaneka Durant, and they were united in Holy Matrimony on April 4, 2009. Galan worked for Tulsa Chili Bowl and Rozay Wings. His last employment was as an independent contractor as a box truck driver. Aside from immensely enjoying taking care of his children and spending time with them, his brother, and other family members, Galan's all-time favorite thing to do was to watch all sports competitions on television. His favorite basketball team was the LA Lakers, and his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. His favorite all-time athlete was Kobe Bryant.
On March 6, 2022, Galan transitioned into eternal rest, where he was welcome by his parents as he entered the pearly gates of Heaven. Galan was preceded in death by his parents, Leoma-Johns Landrum and Pastor Lorenzo J. Landrum; mother, Saundra Landrum; two brothers-in-law, Dejuan Durant and Jermeko Durant; and many other aunts, uncles, and relatives. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Shaneka Landrum; mother, Donericia Landrum of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter, Anessa; five sons, Tilan, Ronald, Galan Jr., Kyson, and Kayden, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Robert (Derek) Landrum (Crystal Spikes) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jerell Ivey of Glenpool, Oklahoma; mother and father-in-law, Linda and Eric Gahagan of Tulsa, Oklahoma, father-in-law Darrell Durant; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
