On November 15, 1957, a precious baby girl was delivered into the hands of Joe Nathan Walker, and Cleo Warford in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The couple named their newest addition Gayle Marie. She received her formal education in Tulsa and was a proud graduate of Will Rogers High School. Gayle accepted Christ and was baptized in 2003. Gayle Walker and David King were blessed with two beautiful children: Erica Marie Walker and Maresha LaSha Walker.

Gayle's father, Joe Walker, two sisters: Donna Hannah, and Patricia Walker, brother Robert Brown, three grandchildren: Tyreese, Tamia, and Jasmine Walker, all preceded her in death. Remaining to cherish her precious memories: her two children: Erica Marie Walker, and Maresha LaSha Walker, both of Tulsa, OK., her mother, Cleo Walker, brothers: Tyreie Brown, Christopher Walker, and Ricky Walker, sisters: Judia Green, Diane King, and Angela Walker, three beautiful grandchildren: Demitrius Prudom, Makaylah Prudom, and Trinitge Walker, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Gayle Walker in her 52nd season transitioned into Eternal Rest on Saturday July 3, 2010 in Tulsa.

Services are scheduled for Thursday July 8, 2010 at 11AM at World Won For Christ Outreach Ministries located at 1125 E. 36th Street North on the corner of E. 36th Street North and Peoria in Tulsa. Visitation for Mrs. Walker will be Wednesday from 12Noon-7PM
