On Friday, November 29, 2019, George Anderson, Jr., loving companion and father, passed away at age 67. George was born to George Anderson, Sr., and Mary Lee Anderson in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the fifth child of nine children. While in Phoenix, he attended Phoenix Union High School. George enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on December 23, 1969.

After his enlistment, he relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma. While in Tulsa he met and married Latonya Johnson. George loved cooking and spending time with family, especially the grandchildren.

In 2003, George met his life partner, Korine Miller.

George Anderson was associated with the Church of the Gospel under Pastor Alfred Humphrey.

George is preceded in death by his parents, George Anderson Sr., and Mary Lee Anderson; siblings Richard Anderson, Rose Coleman, and Gilford Anderson. He leaves his children, Michael Sanders, Natasha Gooden, Gloria Williams (Jack), Derrick Johnson, Ebony Hampton (Bryant), Tremaine
Anderson (Hannah), Tasheika Cole, Tanisha Anderson, Latonya Anderson, and Grant Tyler Anderson. Three sisters and sister in laws are Gilbert Reynolds, RubyAnderson, and Neta Bell Taylor, all from Phoenix, Arizona; Recolia Grayson, Lynn Grayson, Brenda Anderson; two
brothers, Robert Anderson of Phoenix, Arizona, and Willie Hunter. George leaves 36 grandchildren, three great-grand-children, a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Though there is no perfect person, he was as perfect as he could be to those he loved and those who loved him. George was a loving father and cared for so many children who loved him,including Taneshia Hunt, Darcie Ware, and Robert Miller.
