IN LOVING MEMORY OF
George Wesley
Reynolds, Iii
March 26, 1951 – January 6, 2023
On March 26, 1951, George W. Reynolds, III was born to George Wesley Reynolds, Jr. and Velma Lee Humphrey-Reynolds in Redbird, Oklahoma.
"Jerry", as he was known to all his friends and family, was the 7th child born to this large family. He graduated from Porter High School and before entering the United States Army, he had his eldest son, William D. Goins, III with Veronica Easiley. Jerry was in the service for 3 years before receiving an Honorable Discharge and became a retired military civilian.
After retirement, Jerry moved to Hawaii and married Aldreen Ewalani Reynolds. They were blessed to have Jerry's second son, David Reynolds. Jerry was loving and caring and would always check on his family daily. He loved everyone who was a part of his family, whether biological, stepchild, or an in-law. Jerry also never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. His wittiness and quick tongue were a special trait. Anyone who met him, never forgot him! His hobbies were: Watching his daily soap operas, talking on the phone with family members, watching the Kansas City Chief's football team, and he never missed his evening game show the Wheel of Fortune! In 1995 Jerry married Chrylene Justice and was a wonderful stepfather to Andrea Justice. Jerry and Chrylene were married for 27 years before his passing.
On Friday, January 6, 2023, due to COVID complications, Jerry Reynolds, III gave his final farewell.
Preceding him in death are his parents, five brothers, one older sister and two infant sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Wife, Chrylene Reynolds [Broken Arrow, OK], two sons, William D. Goins, III (Stephanie) [Amarillo, TX], and David Reynolds [The Big Island, Hi]; a stepson Sterling Hadeen [Las Vegas, NV] and a stepdaughter Mary Hardin (Tim) [Boise, Idaho] and Stepdaughter Andrea Justice [Broken Arrow, OK]. Brother Mike Reynolds [Redbird, OK] and three sisters: Bobbie J. Dansberry [Redbird, OK], Glodene Reynolds [Amarillo, TX], Sharon Carter [Dallas, TX], and Wanda Astwood (Ron) [Corpus Christy, TX]. Also, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many cousins and friends.
