"…Cherished Memories
Of
Geraldine 'Rhonda' Ezell…"
On September 17, 1958, the Lord favored Mary L. Williams with her first born child. Although her name given at birth was Geraldine, she was fondly referred to by her mother as "Rhonda." Rhonda took pleasure in being a "big sister," to the point that later she was seen as "Mama Rhonda" after the passing of her own mother. Rhonda attended Tulsa Public Schools, graduating from Tulsa McClain. Shortly after graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Lafayette Ezell. This union was blessed with four children.
Mrs. Ezell enjoyed serving the Lord in spirit and in Truth. She drew strength from the fact that she knew that "this was the day that the Lord had made" and that "Victory is Mine!" She truly loved the Lord and exemplified it through her faithful commitment and service to the Gospel Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Elder J.W. Ballard, where she worshipped until her homegoing.
Rhonda will be fondly remembered for her unique ability to cause laughter, her radiant smile and sincere honesty. On Friday, December 21, 2007, surrendered her soul and went Home to be with the Lord. Her mother, and brother Tony, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband; Lafayette, four children: Clifton "Pooh," Kitty, Marquita, and Tashonah "Vet" Ezell, five grandchildren: Kevin J., Marquis, Nathan, Katelynn, and Kevin D., three brothers: Eddie "BoBo," Clark Williams and wife Virginia, Joe, four sisters: Debra, Jessica, Leslie "GeGe," and Robin, her mother and father in-law, Arthur and Mattie Ezell, and a host of relatives, saints, and friends.
Serivces for Mrs. Ezell will be Friday December 28, 2007 at Lifeline Outreach Ministries. Visitation will be Thursday from 12Noon to 7PM.
