Obituary
Mrs. Gladys Brinkley Pridgeon, after 83 years, surrendered her soul on Thursday, February 28, 2008 from Okmulgee, OK.
She was born in Beggs, OK, the youngest daughter of James and Mary [Peters] Brinkley. Gladys moved to Oakland, CA at an early age and spent most of her life there. She worked as an Industrial Nurse before retiring and returning to Okmulgee in 2003.
Mrs. Pridgeon was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 brothers and a sister. She leaves to cherish her memory: numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The Final Hour with her will be on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Peace at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Okmulgee. Rev. David Burks, Pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in New Post Oak Cemetery at Beggs. You may visit Mrs. Pridgeon, as she slumbers at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 Noon to 6 PM.
