On September 4, 1940, Ethel Billups and Eugene Sharp welcomed a healthy baby girl into the family. They named her Grace Yvonne Sharp. She was born and raised in Redbird, Oklahoma, and graduated from Miller Washington High School in Redbird.
Grace married O.C. Harvey, and their union produced three children, Richard C. Harvey, Vanessa G. Harvey, and Regina R. Harvey. She worked at Muskogee Regional Hospital in housekeeping until she retired.
After her first marriage was dissolved, Grace's second marriage was to Russell Chandler. She was loved by many family and friends and was everyone's grandma. Mother Chandler loved to give a helping hand when needed. She attended New Jerusalem Baptist Church and also Blackjack Baptist Church.
