Grethel Mae Love was born in West Virginia on April 18, 1951, the daughter of Nate and Gladys Jude. She grew up and attended school in Logan, West Virginia.
Later in life, she lived in Columbus, Ohio, before eventually moving to Muskogee, Oklahoma in 1983. Grethel was a loving homemaker and housewife. She thrived on taking care of her loving family. She was a great mom, who took care of the whole family, including her own children, grandchildren, and neighborhood kids.
She was a great cook, loved to shop at Wal Mart and her most favorite snacks were Milky Way Candy Bars and Granola Bars. She also was an avid soap opera fan, with General Hospital, her favorite.
Mrs. Love attended Valley View Pentecostal Church in Fort Gibson and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Remaining to lament her death; her husband, Robert Love, Sr., of the home in Oktaha, Oklahoma; her son, Jerry Workman, Muskogee, Oklahoma, step-sons, Robert Love, Jr., and Mike Love, Oktaha, Oklahoma; her daughter, Tammy Rife, Muskogee, Oklahoma, step-daughter, Hope Love, New Richmond, Ohio; her sisters, Virgie Shinn, Dayton, Ohio, Martha Hardy, Columbus, Ohio and Sarah Love, Muskogee, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
The Service of Memory for Mrs. Love will be on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Remembrance at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc. Pastor Don Ryan, Valley View Pentecostal Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenhill Cemetery.

Casket Bearers will be Jerry Workman, Lane Love, Randy Taylor, Michael Love, Robert Rife, and Lisa Rife.
