Mrs. Harrien Ruth Hale, a former resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma, after 71 years, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from Oklahoma City.
My journey of life began on January 8, 1947 to the union of Walter Tate Sr. and Elizabeth (Elston) Tate in Boy

at a young age
, my father married Viola (Henry) Tate who raised my siblings and
me
as her own. I graduated

I joined the Bethel 7
th
Day Adventist Church in Kansas City, KS, where I was the church treasurer
.
In this wonderful journey of life
and love
,
my wonderful children were born. I
was employed at the Housing Authority of Kansas City, KS until I returned
home
to Muskogee, OK, in 1991
, where I became a member of Berean SDA church and church treasurer as well
.
I attended Indian Capital Vo-tech and became a Licensed Practical Nurse, where I worked at Eddie Warrior and retired from Claremore VA
Hospital
.
After retiring I
was
taking ca
re of family and cooking for my
brothers. I enjoyed making quilts in my spare time and making
"snoopy blankets
"
for my children and grandchildren.
After threescore year
s and eleven
, the ti
me the Lord promised
he called me home to rest
with the words,
"
I loved, I lived and I fought
"
. I will now be reunited with my parents, Walter, Elizabeth and Viola Tate, my brothers West, Frank, Dwight and Jeff Tate.
