Harrien "Tisha" Hale, after 42 years with us, "finished her course on Earth" on Friday morning, September 28, 2018 from Oklahoma City.
Harriene Artisha "Tisha" Hale was born to Harrien Tate Hale and Elton H. Hale in Kansas City, Kansas on December 20, 1975. She was raised in Kansas City and then moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Tisha accepted Christ at an early age at the Bethel 7th Day Adventist Church in Kansas City, Kansas. "Tisha," as she was affectionately known, graduated from Muskogee High School and attended Connors State College, where she graduated with an Associates degree in Health Care Administration. Tisha returned to school where received her LPN from Platt College and earned her RN.
Tisha moved to Oklahoma City, where she worked at St. Anthony's hospital in the psychiatric ward for children and adults. Tisha loved working with the kids and always welcomed other children to her home.
In her 42nd year with us, Harrien Artisha Hale surrendered her soul on Friday, September 28, 2018 from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tisha was preceded in death by her mother Harrien Hale, her grandparents Margaret & Elton Hale; Walter, Elizabeth & Viola Tate.
She is survived by: her daughter Tiarra Andrews, her son, Quinton Hale, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Her step-dad, Ira Harris, Muskogee, Oklahoma; her sisters, LaWane Williams, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Liz Small, Kansas City, Kansas; two brothers, Heiskill "Dale" Jackson, Muskogee, Oklahoma and Robert Jackson, Mt. Vernon, Missouri; her favorite niece-daughter Toijan Armstrong (Chakeal), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her step-mother Gwen Hale, Kansas City, Kansas; her father, Elton Hale, of Kansas City, Kansas; She also leaves her cousin-brother, Courtney Tate (Toya), Muskogee, Oklahoma; and a caravan of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends close to her heart, Shere Steward, Candy Brown and Shaletha "Tiny" Sherfield.
Those family and friends planning to attend the service for "Tisha" are asked to wear Red, Yellow and White colors for her favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Final Hour with "Tisha" will commence on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Dean's Chapel Baptist Church. Reverend Don Dumas is the gracious host Pastor and Reverend Malcolm Phipps, Pastor of Berean Seventh Day Adventist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Doyle Cemetery at Yahola, Oklahoma, west of Taft.
You may visit Miss Hale on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Berean Seventh Day Adventist Church, 7th and West Southside Boulevard in Muskogee.
