Mr. Herman T. Johnson, age 44 and the beloved husband of Lisa, father of Terrance, Krystie and Krystal and Joshua, friend to many, left us for a life eternal on Monday, March 12, 2007 from St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Born in Tulsa, Herman was the son of Homer and Magnolia Johnson, the 5th of 6 children born to this union.

He attended Tulsa Public Schools, graduating from Raymond S. McClain High School with the Class of 1981.

He accepted Christ at an early age at Friendship Baptist Church under the late Reverend L. L. Tisdale.

He met Lisa Redmond, and after courtship, he was convince she was the one and joined her in Holy matrimony.

Herman was active in his children's lives, and was active in his church, the Greenwood Christian Center, where he and Lisa recently rededicated their lives to Christ.

Those that wait on the Lord; his devoted wife, Lisa Johnson; his son, Joshua, his son, Terrance, his daughters, Krystie and Krystal; his mother, Magnolia Johnson; his siblings, Veatrice Johnson, Homer & Stephanie Johnson, Jr., Johnny Johnson, Ed Johnson; a caravan of other relatives, friends, co-workers and his church family at Greenwood.

The Celebratory Worship Service of Thanksgiving will be on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Greenwood Christian Center. Bishop Gary McIntosh, the gracious host Pastor, Chaplin James Redmond and Evangelist Harold White, Eulogists.

The Christian committal will follow in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens.

You may visit Herman, as he slumbers at the funeral home on Monday from 12 Noon to 7 PM, with the family present to receive friends from 6 PM to 7 PM.
