Obituary

Mrs. Ida Clark Collins, in her 84th season of life, Dozed into Eternal Slumber on Friday morning, January 2, 2015 from her home in Muskogee.

Ida was born May 16, 1930 in Greenwood Mississippi to the union of Robert and Lucille Smith.

Ida moved to Chicago Illinois where she was married to Walter Clark for 52 years. To this union they reared 8 children. Walter preceded her in death.

Under the guidance of Elder E. Duncan, Ida received salvation and later continued to serve under Bishop H.W. Goldsberry until moving to Muskogee, OK where she met and married James Collins in April of 2003.

Ida is preceded in death by her Father, Robert Smith and Mother, Lucille Smith; Brothers: John, Willie, Samuel, James, Moses, Hosea, Elisha, Elijah and Aaron; Sisters: Canary, Mary, Hosanna, Geraldine and Claudia.

Ida leaves on this earth a loving Husband, James Collins in Muskogee, OK; Sister, Lucille Faulk (Frank); Children: Arthur Smith (Terry), Juliette Mannie, Ronald Clark (Patricia), Donald Clark (Linda), Barbara Clark Bell (Rueben), Bobby Clark (Vickey), Calvin Clark; Step-children: Cheri, James, Lisa, Khym, Angela and Andrea and a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, close friends and church family.

The Sacred Farewell will commence on Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the New Life Ministries of Taft, Oklahoma. Pastor Michael Gaulden, Sr., Pastor, will Officiate. Burial will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the National Cemetery at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.

You may visit Mrs. Collins, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
