"Reflections of Her Life"
On April 28, 1938, a precious bundle of joy was delivered to Clifton and Nancy Morgan in Okmulgee County. Their newest addition to their family was a bouncing baby girl. They named her Ida Mae. She was the fourth of fourteen children. The family later moved to Punkin Center, Oklahoma, and it was there she finished her education. At an early age, Ida united with and was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church.
The year 1958 proved to be a special one for Ida. She was united in marriage to Herbert Collins, Jr. on July 2, 1958. To this union, thirteen children were born. Ida founded and operated Mama Collins Daycare and Learning Center since its inception in 1988. The lives of many, many were touched through the love and compassion that she freely shared with everyone.
