Isabella Marie (Eckford) Padillow was born to Johnny  Ray Eckford and Annette Jean (Lyons) Eckford on June 5, 1977, in Enid, Oklahoma. She was born prematurely and proved to be a fighter from day one.

Bell, as she was affectionately called by her family and friends, accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at a very young age. From that point on, she committed her life to representing her God in all that she did. Her great- grandmother, Christine Towns, taught her the power of prayer and deemed her a Prayer Warrior at a young age. It  was her faith and prayer that gave her the strength to run her race and fight her fight.

Even at a young age, Bell was an inspiration to all who knew her, whether young or old. She was small but mighty and wise beyond her years. Her little sister, Sophia Eckford, and cousins were her pride and joy. It was her mission to protect them and teach them everything she knew.

Although born in Enid, her mother, Annette, moved her and her sister, Sophia, to Tulsa, Oklahoma, while in middle school where she attended and graduated from Edison Middle and High School in 1996. While in high school, she played basketball and joined the JROTC. She was also an artist, an avid runner, skateboarder, roller blader, and collector. As an  athlete and a soldier, one thing that she worked vigorously on was her washboard abs, and she wouldn't hesitate to show them. She loved her baseball cards and Hot Wheels.  It was also in high school where she met her godmother, Diana Sentamu.

Immediately after graduation, she enlisted  in the U.S. Army, where she served honorably from 1997 to 2001. She was a committed soldier and dedicated leader who  excelled in all that she did. It was early in her Army career that she met her husband and life partner of almost 24 years,  Monroe Aundrey Padillow. They dated and later had a son, Monroe Aundrey Padillow, Jr., in December of 1998, and  married in February of 1999. In October of 2004, they were blessed with another child—this time, a beautiful baby girl, Clarice Jean Padillow.

The family attended Victory Christian  Center and later attended Zion Fellowship Ministries, where Isabella trained in the ministry as a Daughter of Zion under Pastor Greg Hawkins and Sister Joanne Collins. She also worked in the church daycare, where she was lovingly known as Ms. Bell. Isabella was a committed and dedicated mother and wife. She loved her family more than life itself. She won the hearts of all who knew her. To know her was to know love in its purest form.

Bell was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Christine Towns, her grandparents, Eddie Odell Eckford and Clarence Lyons, her namesake, Isabella Marie Eckford, her mother, Annette Ikram, and her aunts, Clarice Belcher and Sue Preuss.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Monroe A. Padillow, Sr.; her committed son, Monroe A. Padillow, Jr.; her adoring daughter, Clarice J. Padillow; her sister, Sophia Eckford; her aunt, Margaret Webb; her  aunt, Christina Sharmane Judge, and uncle, John Judge; her aunt, Lynn Eckford; her uncle, "JR" Clarence Lee Lyons,  and aunt, Sylivia Lyons; her niece, Annette Eckford; her nephew, Ronneco Cole; and her godmother, Diana Sentamu and family. She also leaves behind a host of first, second and third cousins, as well as in-laws, brothers and sisters in arms, battle buddies and friends.
