Obituary

In 1949, James Charles McKnight, Sr., was born on the 27th day of February to the late Annie C. McKnight and Johnny Hunter in Jackson, Tennessee.

Affectionately referred to as "Killer", Mr. McKnight accepted Christ at an early age. After receiving his education in Madison County, he set his sights on Michigan, where he later met Berthina Robinson and married her in 1969, after whicht, two sons were conceived.

James Charles worked at the General Motors Plant in Michigan for ten years and later decided to move to Muskogee, Oklahoma to live and made this his residence, working for the City in the Parks department for 30 years.

He leaves a legacy of unconditional love, peace and contentment with whatever blessings God bestowed upon him in this life. As a "strong warrior," he fought like a champion and now gets to take his rest, until we each will see him again.
