Obituary

On April 7, 1932 Ed & Willale were blessed with their third child in Birmingham, Alabama. They named him James Troy Williams. After graduating from Rosedale High School, he was drafted into the United States Army where he served three years. Once his term in Germany was over, he went to Pontiac Michigan to live with Johnny & Dorothy. While living in Michigan he met and married Yvonne Williams. They were blessed with five children.

The family moved to Battle Creek, Michigan in 1958. He worked loyally for the United States Postal Service. While working for the Postal Service, he had a call on his life for ministry. Answering his calling he became the Pastor of Full Gospel Deliverance Church in Michigan. In 1974, in Huntington, Tennessee, Full Gospel Deliverance Valley was open. Faithfully and passionately he pastured the church for over 20 years. Elder James has been an integral part of the Tulsa Church of God Seven Day congregations for many years. He supported financially, taught the adult class, and served on the board of Elders. He was always a light of encouragement to other Christians and walked by faith. He was a great man of prayer.
