Obituary

It all began in Okmulgee, OK, when Johnny and Leanna Goudeau were blessed with their only child, a beautiful baby girl, born on October 4, 1957. They were overjoyed with their new arrival and named her "Janice Marie".

Jan grew up in Okmulgee, OK, where she received her education and graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1975. She continued her education by attending Tulsa Community College.

Jan accepted Christ at an early age and attended Eastside Church of God in Christ where she served faithfully.

On June 16,1974, Jan married Rod Bagby and to this union 2 beautiful sons were born, Roderick and MarKeaton.

Jan was an out-going, loving person. To know her was to love her. She battled health problems and fought a good fight for 6 long months. At 4:51 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29th, 2010, just before her 53rd birthday, with her loving mother by her side, she changed her residence from Okmulgee to Heaven.

Her father, Johnny Goudeau and her grandparents, were awaiting her arrival at her new home in Glory.

She leaves in God's care; her loving mother, Leanna Goudeau, Okmulgee, OK; two sons, Roderick (Misty) Bagby, Dallas, TX, MarKeaton (Audrey) Bagby, Preston, OK; four grandchildren, Tatyanna, Tiara, Keaton, and Akyra; three sisters, Kathy (Darl) O'Guin, Faye Dean (Lou), Arlene (Carl) Williams; two brothers, Mitchell Goudeau IV and Sterling Ross III; two aunts, Irma (Oathar) Todd, Carol (Sterling) Ross; one uncle, James Parker; her god-daughters, Allyson O'Guin and Shanice Collins; god-son, Sean Bagby; special cousins, Sharon Humphrey, Alice (Robert) Collins, and Mark Todd; her best friends, Liz Bagby and Sheryl Faulk; and a host of other relatives and friends.
