Morris, Oklahoma was the place a baby girl was born from the union of Charlie and Adie [Fisher] Wilson on October 5, 1942. They named her Janice Lynn.
Janice attended public school in Grayson and Morris, Oklahoma, and graduated from Morris High School with the Class of 1961. After school, she met Floyd Dalcour, and they were united in Holy Matrimony in June of 1962. From this union, two beautiful daughters were born.
During her lifetime, Janice helped provide for her family through her employment in Retail Sales, most recently as a clerk for Stage and later, she worked in the Home Health Care industry as a Provider. She loved her flowers in her yard and gardening every year. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and the activities that were shared. It was always laughter and fun. Janice also loved having her close companion "Tigger" her cat, around her. "Tigger" kept her amused and brought her great joy and companionship.
Okmulgee, Oklahoma was the place that "God beckoned" Janice from labor to refreshment on Saturday afternoon, December 17, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Wiley and Edward King and a sister, Lillian King.
She leaves to lament her death; two daughters, Angela Dalcour, Kansas City, Missouri and Patricia Dalcour-Jordan, Irving, Texas; a precious grandson, Troy Alexander Dalcour, Kansas City, Missouri; a sister, Norma Jean [Son, Jr.} Taylor, Okmulgee, Oklahoma; two nieces, Undray Moore, Moore, Oklahoma and Angela Lovett, Okmulgee, Oklahoma; a nephew, Marvin Taylor, Okmulgee, Oklahoma; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Peace. Reverend Carl G. Morgan, Pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church of Haskell, Oklahoma, will officiate. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
You may visit Janice as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM until 6 PM and on Friday morning, beginning at 10 AM.
