Janice Marie Lofton was born October 16, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a bundle of joy delivered to Quincy Walker and Zula M. Lofton, and was the sixth of seven children born to the union.

She received her formal education from Jones Commercial High School in Chicago. She met and married Kevin Thomas, SR. Two children were born to the union, Kevin Joseph and Krystal. She later married Gregory Hall, the love of her life. She joined his loving family that included Gregory Quinell, Gary, and Garet.

Janice accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age under the leadership of Bishop H.W. Goldsberry. Janice and her family joined Liberty World Outreach Church in 2001. Mrs. Hall worked in support of the U.S. Military in Afghanistan. She also worked as a Mary Kay Cosmetics Representative.

Janice made her final transition on April 8, 2008. Remaining to cherish her precious memories: her loving husband, Gregory Hall, a daughter Krystal Moorhead (Nikato), four sons: Kevin Thomas, Gregory Hall (Tierra) Gary Hall, Garet McNeal, a goddaughter, Shenice Key, twelve grandchildren: Arianna, Kristopher, Kevin Joseph II, Christian, Deon, Kintrell, Devon, Kyin, Asia, Kevin-Jay, D'janay, and Kayden, her mother Zula Mae Lofton, three sisters: Alfelia Lofton, and twins Annetta and Annette Lofton, three brothers: Dwight Woodruff, Darnell Lofton, Larry Lofton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
