Obituary for Mr. Jefferson Clark

On July 10, 1956, a beautiful baby boy named Jefferson ("Jeff") was born to Lloyd  and Hazel Clark in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was the youngest son and number 10 of 13 children.

Jefferson attended Dunbar Elementary School, Sadler Junior High School, and graduated from Muskogee High School in 1974. He served his country  by enlisting in the United States Army, where he was honorably discharged after  3 years of faithful service. While in the Army he developed technical skills that enabled him to have a very successful and long career at Honeywell after his  tour of duty.

Jefferson professed a hope in Jesus Christ at an early age and joined Sanders Chapel Baptist Church in Muskogee. In his later years he recommitted his life to Christ.

Jeff met his soul mate and the love of his life, Vona Faye Wilson, who was his dear  companion for over 27 years. He was devastated when he lost his dear Faye in 2012 because the two were inseparable.

Jeff was a very loving, caring and generous person. He loved watching movies,  playing dominos, and was a Dallas Cowboys' fan to heart. He enjoyed fishing, riding  motorcycles, shopping, and all types of music. Additionally, one of his favorite  pastimes was reading our Daily Bread devotionals accumulating hundreds of them  over the years.

We will miss Jeff dearly but we know that he now rests safely in the hands of the  Lord and is reunited with all his loved ones who had gone on before him. Jefferson  now joins the great cloud of witnesses with his wife Faye, his parents, Lloyd and  Hazel, two infant siblings who preceded him in death, a sister, Marie Ann Clark  Armstead and a brother, Alonzo Clark.

Remaining to cherish his lifetime of precious memories are his sisters, Christine  Crout (George), Long Beach, Ca.; Jessie Mae Mills (Nathan), Broken Arrow, Ok.; Esibell Clark, Tulsa, Ok.; and Mattie Pearl Clark, Oklahoma City, Ok and Alonzo's widow, Janice M. Clark, Tulsa, OK.; his brothers, Floyd Clark, Leon Clark, Lloyd Clark Jr. and Joseph Clark (Beverly) all of Tulsa, Ok.; and a host of wonderful nieces,  nephews, and friends.
