Obituary

Jennifer DèNaye Gordon was born on December 9, 1983, to the family of Myron Gordon and Coral Jean Cheadle Gordon in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jennifer was one of three children born to that union. The remaining two siblings are Courtney and Ryanne Gordon.
She began her early public school life in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Jennifer later moved with her family in 2000 to Tulsa, where she completed her education at Union High School in 2002. After moving to Tulsa, Jennifer became a member of Higher Dimensions Family Church, along with her Mother, Coral Jean Smith, Step-Father Jerome Smith, and her sisters. She was a popular member of the Youth "Stomp" Group.
After graduation, Jennifer started her employment career with Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) in the credit card department. Jennifer remained active in youth activities at church and continued to work until she was diagnosed with Lupus in 2005. At one point, she was confined to a wheelchair; however, Jennifer refused to give up and relied on her faith to start walking again. She progressed well until her immune system deteriorated, after a short bout of pneumonia.
Jennifer was an inspiration to everyone who was privileged to share in her life, her laughter, and love. She transitioned into Life on Thursday, February 22, 2007, at St. John's Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
