Jennifer Ann Marshall was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 15, 1959 to Eugene and Maudie Lee Owens. She transitioned from this earthly life to eternal glory peacefully in her home Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
Jennifer in her early years grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and then moved to Red Bird, Oklahoma. She graduated from Porter High School where she was honored for her achievement in English. Her career was in the manufacturing industry and she retired from Georgia Pacific.
She met the love of her life Thomas Marshall, Sr and they remained married for 42 years. They lived in Porter, Oklahoma for several years and eventually settled in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was especially devoted to her grandchildren. She also loved to sing. Her anointed voice was heard at Church services and various events.
Jennifer was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Red Bird, Oklahoma. She was a loyal servant and served many years as the Women's Mission President, and many other areas where she was needed. Her mission provided resources to the Women's Shelter and various needs in the community. It was evident in her works that she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith was always an important part of her life.
Jennifer will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, and extended family and friends.
Mrs. Jennifer Ann Marshall, in her 63rd Season of Life, "dozed into the tranquil peace of eternal rest" on Tuesday morning, January 3, 2023 from her home in Muskogee, surrounded with the devoted love and peace of her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Maudie Lee Owens; brothers Billy and Robert; sisters Kym and Mary; and step-son Untaureece.
Jennifer leaves to treasure her memories: Her husband Thomas Marshall, Sr; her son Thomas Marshall, Jr of Muskogee, OK; her daughter Angel Palmer (Uzzah) of The Colony, Texas; her step-son Montrey Marshall of Coweta, OK; two sisters, Willia Ledford (Keith) and Janet Younger; grandchildren Yemille, Yelyse, Yemon, Yemari, Zoe and Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
The Hour of Remembrance for Mrs. Marshall will commence on Saturday, January 14, 2022 at the Eleventh Hour in the most holy sanctuary of Rayfield Baptist Church in Muskogee.
You may visit Jennifer, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Muskogee on Friday, January 13, 2023, between the hours of 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
The Christian Committal will immediately follow the services in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee.
