Jessie Lee Foreman was born in Coyote Trail, OK now known as Sand Springs on February 29, 1934 to Maggie Bell Johnston and Rubin Logan.
She was the third child of Maggie. She had one sister Marian Jones and one Brother Cecil Harvey.
April 1, 1950, she married Clifford Alexander Brown in Oklahoma. To this union, five children were born
Doris, Geary, Vanessa, Maggie and Clifford, Jr.
Jessie attend school in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and graduated from Booker T. Washington, Sand Springs.
Jessie moved to from Oklahoma to Michigan to live with her sister for a short time and then to San Francisco, Ca where she resided from 1959 until December of 2013. She returned home to Oklahoma in 2013 where she lived out her final days, surrounded by family and friends.
During her working years, she worked in many capacities and most notably as a daycare provider.
Jessie grew up in the Church of God in Christ where she learned of the Lord. She was baptized and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age and continued to walk with Jesus until the end. She enjoyed her family and loved them all dearly. She was always the life of the party. She kept everyone laughing and always spoke her mind and never hesitate to tell you just how it was.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maggie and father Rubin, Sister Marian Jones and brother, Cecil Harvey, brother Rubin Logan, Jr. and Elesta Logan, daughter, Vanessa Mitchell and son Clifford Brown, Jr., special aunt Lucille Hill and daughter in law Shirley Ann Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memory: children Doris Marie Johnson, Geary Lee Brown and Maggie Jean Brown all of San Francisco, Ca.
Grandchildren: Steven Mitchell, Treena Simmons, Andréa (Mitchell) Murrell, Joyce Johnson, Tammy Brown, Kimberly Session, Jessica Brown, George Edward Session, Robert Johnson, Geary Brown, Jr. and Ronnie Mitchell, Jr., Wynoka Brown.
Special son in law, Ronnie Mitchell, Sr., Steven Murrell and dear friend Robert Johnson, Sr.
Siblings, Daisy Logan, Danna Logan, Vanteen Lowe, Yvonne Logan and Sandra Logan
35 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, and cousins. Special cousins Lurenda and Hubert Harvey.

Mrs. Jessie L. Foreman traveled to Eternal Rest on Thursday April 2, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Services will be Saturday April 11, 2015 at 11AM at Covenant Family Church. Friends may visit on Friday from 10AM until 7PM in Tulsa.
