On April 24, 1955, God blessed Jessie Lee Hardy and Roberta Delores Hardy with a handsome baby boy naming him Jessie Cornelius Hardy.
Jessie grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was born and attended Tulsa Public Schools. Later in life, he had a son, naming him Jessie, Jr. Jessie loved to "dress to impress." He was so cool that he earned the nickname, "J-Cool." He had his own swag about himself, and that smile would get you every time.

He was a master chef, and received his Culinary Art Certificate in 2002. He also had a certificate in carpentry. He was a hard worker and he was a very neat and clean man who could cook.
