On December 2, 1961, a bouncing bundle of joy was born to William and Cheryle Walker Easley in Cleveland, Ohio. They named their beautiful daughter Jocqueline LaRue. Her parents would relocate to Tulsa, Oklahoma in June of 1964.
Jocqueline began her schooling at Dunbar Elementary School. Jocqueline was baptized into Christ at North Peoria Church of Christ in 1975. She graduated from Central High School in 1979 and continued on to cosmetology school where she got her certificate. She immediately began working at Bank of Oklahoma.
In 1980, Jocqueline was blessed with the birth of two beautiful children Erica and Erin Silmon. Three years later their sister, Ashley Easley was added to the family.
She is proceeded in death by her grandmothers, LeeElla Sims and Electra Walker and her grandfather Dan Harris.
Jocquelyn leaves to cherish her memory: her parents, William and Cheryle Easley; her sister, Veronica Easley; her brother, William A Easley; her children: twins Erica & Erin Silmon and Ashley Easley, her grandchildren: Victoria Brown, Audavion Tottress, Jody Easley, Tiya Johnson; her niece, Te'Yona Easley, nephews: Robert and Rashad Easley and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Service for Jocqueline LaRue Easley will be Saturday April 27, 2013 at 10AM inside our All Faiths Chapel in Tulsa. Friends may visit her on Friday from 12Noon-7PM in Tulsa.
