"Life's Journey"

When a child is born, a race begins. It is the race from the cradle to the grave, and in between. Be it short or long, come life, each person must run their course.

On September 3, 1952 a baby boy was born to Florence and Beophus Lowe, Sr. They named him John Paul Lowe. He was the youngest of six children born from this union. John received his education from Tulsa Public School. At an early age, John accepted Christ as his personal savior. He attended St. Monica Catholic Church. John entered the Army in 1974 where he served his country in the Vietnam War, where he was later honorably discharged.

John's greatest love was his five children whom will cherish his precious memories. Joyceln Lynell, Tanisha Eunice, Cedric Deontray Markham, John Paul, Jr., and Joseph Lowe. On January 29, 2009, John completed his course and answered the call of his Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by his father Beophus Lowe, Sr., his brothers Beophus Lowe, Jr., and Charles Edward Lowe, one sister Dorothy Marie Lowe, and his grandson Keyshawn Markham. John leaves to continue his legacy, his five children, his mother Florence Lowe, two sisters: Lily Ann Hawkins, Detroit, MI., and Betty Lowe, seven grandchildren, Marquis, Marquisha, Shatoiya, Derall, Lil Cediric, Jaliyah, Iaeiyonah, one great-grandchild, Roderick LeJuan Stephenson, Jr., along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Services will be Friday at 10AM inside the All Faiths Chapel. Friends may visit Mr. Lowe as he slumbers in the Chapel on Thursday from 12Noon to 7PM.
