John Edward Turner was born to John Turner and Gladys Nichols on September 21, 1955. Raised in Beggs, Oklahoma, he received his education in Beggs, graduating with the class of 1974. On November 10, 1955, John went to rest peacefully at his home. His parents preceded him in death. Remaining to cherish his precious memories: a son, Marcellus Turner, Tulsa, OK., one daughter Shundra Turner, Tulsa, OK., and one granddaughter, three brothers: Willie Holbert, Tulsa, OK., Joel Roberson, Tulsa, OK., and Kenneth Nichols, Beggs, OK., three sisters: Mary Young, Texas, Walline Turner, Tulsa, OK., and Deborah Stuart, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be Wednesday November 18, 2009 at 11AM in our Chapel of Peace in Okmulgee. Visitation will be from 12Noon to 7PM in Tulsa. Mr. Turner will be laid to rest at the Beggs City Cemetery in Beggs, OK.
