Obituary

Mr. Johnnie Hosea Williams, inhis 75th season of life, surrendered to the will of God on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from Muskogee.

Johnnie was born on March 9, 1938 in a small community called Arcade, located Southwest of Taft, Oklahoma, to the proud parents Moses and Reba Williams, Sr. Johnnie was the fourth youngest of five siblings.

He attended school in the Arcade community and also Wainwright Public School. Johnnie was a vibrant child and full of joy. He began his adult life in Muskogee, where lived with a dear and special soul mate, Arlee Mayhue. They remained together until her death.

Johnnie began his early years of employment in 1972 with the RC Bottle Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In the early 1980's, Johnnie decided to work the gift that God had blessed him with. He had a love and passion for cars. Johnnie was well known for his great gift and craftsmanship as a Mechanic. He became a self-employed Automobile Mechanic and devoted his life to helping others. He would repair cars for his family and friends throughout the community for a little of nothing or even for free.

Because of his acts of kindness and love for others, many people called him by his nickname "Fifty-Cents."

Johnnie found a new soul-mate and wife, Ms. Etta Mae Coleman. They remained together until she passed away on June 13, 2013.

Johnnie recently accepted Christ as his Savior. He was baptized and became a member of the New Life Ministries in Taft.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory; his lovely daughter, Jacqueline E. Wooden [Anthony]; his grandchildren, Ashley Wooden, Elijah Wooden and Ashton Wooden [Holly], all of Muskogee, Oklahoma; his brother, James Williams, Dallas, Texas; a special cousin, Will Ella Powell, Muskogee, Oklahoma; a special friend, Luther Walker, Taft, Oklahoma; and a host of step-children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
