Jon Arnett Butler was born to Floyd Butler and Cherry Lee Parish on September 3rd 1960. Jon is a direct descendant and the grandson of documented Tulsa Race Massacre survivor Luther J Butler.
Jon attended Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and later went on to work as a General Contractor. Part of his career journey was fulfilled with his Uncle Jewing Brinkley and through his ministry, City of Refuge COGI Jon was also affiliated with Vision Family Ministry in Tulsa Oklahoma as well. Jon married Lillie Mae McNac in 1989. Jon was a loving and caring person. Jon made an impact on many lives. Jon was deeply loved and he will be missed by many.
Jon was preceded in death by his father Floyd Butler and mother Cherry Butler, Sister Cheryl Ann Butler, brother Kalen Trent Butler and sister Synia Coye Butler.
Jon leaves behind siblings George, Kim Butler-Pitts, Deborah Butler-Hardman, Celi Butler-Davis, J Luther Butler, J Lester Butler, Jerald Butler, Kristal Kimble, Ryan Cox, Step-Sister Michelle Pennington and a host of other family members and friends
Mr. Jon Arnett Butler, transitioned to Everlasting Life on Wednesday March 12, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Memorial Service to honor the Life of Jon, will be the First Hour of the Afternoon in The All Faiths Chapel of Keith D Biglow Funeral Directors - Tulsa Location on Friday March 21, 2025.
Mr. Butler's cremation is under the Auspices of the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors Inc., of Tulsa.
