Mr. Jonathon Lee "Jon Boy" Deere, age 16 and a resident of Okmulgee, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in Tulsa.
Jonathon was a student at Okmulgee High School and attended Belvin Baptist Church. He was a gifted athlete, talented in sports, including soccer and baseball. He had an outgoing personality and will be missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, Cassandra Deere, Okmulgee, OK; his father, Terry Jones, Morris, OK; his brothers, Orlando Deere, Okmulgee, OK and Aaron Jones, Morris, OK; his sisters, Sarah Deere and Rebekah Kahbeah, both of Okmulgee, OK and Tayia Jones, Morris, OK; his grandparents; a special nephew, Daveon Asberry; a special cousin, Miya Sutton; along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, other Cousins, family and friends.
Service of Memory will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in the Belvin Baptist Church, Pastor Randy Colbert, Lawrence Kahbeah and Steven Kahbeah, officiating. Burial will follow in the Montezuma Cemetery at Nuyaka, Oklahoma. Funeral services are under the direction of the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Okmulgee.
The Wake will begin at 6:00 P.M. on Friday at the Belvin Baptist Church. Casket bearers will be Josiah Factor, Ronnie proctor, Scott Harjo, LaJuan Asberry and Jordan Ellis.
