Obituary

On January 2, 2007, a blessing was sent forth to join the union of Temicah Simpson and Michael Johnson. He was introduced to the world as Jordan Terrell Johnson, making him the second born from this union.

It was at an early age that Jordan found himself fighting obstacles that most kids his age weren't, but it never kept him from smiling. there wasn't a stranger he met that he didn't make a friend. He always had a way with the ladies, drawing them in with his famous pick up line "I like your hair." Although his hugs and wet kissed would always warm your heart, it was always his "I love you" that made your day.

Jordan's love for his family was never questioned. As tears flow and our hearts are filled with sorrow, we must always remember him at his best, for God never promised us days without tears.

On October 15, 2014, Jordan slipped into eternal peace. As HE took Jordan by the hand HE whispered unto him "I come to carry you home." As Jordan makes his footprints across Heaven, he joins his Aunt Lareta "Lucy" Simpson and Uncle James Buchanan, Jr., two great-grandfathers, Dennis McDaniel and Theopolis Mayfield, two great-grandmothers, Elizabeth McDaniel and Cora Buchanan.

Jordan leaves behind to cherish his memory; his loving mother and father, Temicah Simpson and Michael Johnson; two brothers, Michael Johnson, Jr., and Jaiden Johnson; three sisters, Mekyah, Michaela and Michaelynn Johnson; two grandmothers, Helen Simpson and Phyllis [Earl] Tucker; two grandfathers, Toby Webb and James [Wanda] Buchanan, all of Muskogee, Oklahoma; seven Aunts, Laquinta Webb, Ren-Janette [Cordell] Carter, Tamara Johnson, Tobi [Chris] Brown, Shatara Johnson, Aarontasia McGee, all of Muskogee, Amanda Johnson, Tulsa, Oklahoma; two Uncles, Toby Webb, Muskogee and Johnathan [Brittani] Webb, Tulsa, Oklahoma; his God-father, CeCe Johnson and his God-mother, Marchelle Taylor; a caravan of great uncles and great aunts, cousins and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Martin Turman, Donna Wilson, Anne Beck, Kristi Booker and Lindi Stangeland.

The final hour with Jordan will be shared on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the St. Mark Baptist Church. Reverend Rodger Cutler, the gracious host Pastor will officiate and Reverend Walter Brown, Jr., Eulogist. Burial will follow in the Four Mile Branch Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
