Obituary
Mrs. Josephine Nadine Stevens, after 75 seasons of life on earth, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening, May 14, 2013 from Muskogee.
She was born on September 14, 1937 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Walter and Alice [Hutchins] Holland. Josephine attended Muskogee Public Schools and worked as a waitress for many years. She loved to go to Church, read and spending time with her family.
Josephine married Paul Stevens on February 28, 1959. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Shirley and her mother and father-in-law, John and Goldie Stevens.
She leaves in God's care; her husband, Paul; her five children, Cathy Langston, Deborah Travis, Donna Sistanich, Ricky Stevens and Paul Stevens; two step-daughters, Teresa Murray and Paula Stevens, all of Muskogee; thirteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Service of Memory for Mrs. Stevens will be on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Elm Grove Assembly of God. Pastor Buddy Powell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenhill Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Paul Stevens, Jason Stevens, Bradley Stevens, Tommy Sipes, Steven Clemens and Jim Sistanich. Honorary Casket bearers will be Brandon Barnett and Danny Standridge.
You may visit Mrs. Stevens, as she slumbers at the funeral home on Monday from 10 AM until 7 PM.
