Obituary
Joshua Andrew Tibbs, 23, of Tulsa, was born December 15, 1993, the son of Iris Palmer-Tibbs and Thomas (Tommy) Jones. He attended William Penn Elementary School and Nathan Hale High School.
Everything he did, he put his heart into it. Joshua had a big heart and was quite a character. He had a love for cars and old trucks; he was sweet, generous and quiet at times, had to warm up to you. Joshua loved to take care of his grandmother, Rose Palmer where he resided. He took pleasure in cutting his grandmother's yard. Joshua was a good cook, which he did often and will be truly missed.
In his young life Joshua met and had a long-term relationship with Brandi Tottress, with whom he had a daughter –Lauryn Londyn Tibbs. Lauryn became the new love of his life.
Joshua is survived by his parents Iris Palmer-Tibbs of Tulsa and Thomas (Tommy) Jones of Oklahoma City; his brother Julian Tibbs (Tulsa, Oklahoma) and DeAngelo Hardman (Arizona).
He also leaves his grandparents, Rose Lee Palmer (Tulsa, Oklahoma), Elmer Palmer Sr (Tulsa, Oklahoma), and Esther Tibbs (Oklahoma City).
His Aunts and Uncles - Carol Abernathy (Tulsa, Oklahoma), Lisa Palmer (Tulsa, Oklahoma), Angela Palmer-Jackson (Owasso, Oklahoma), Elmer Palmer Jr (Terrell, Texas), Guyla Tibbs (Aubrey, Texas), Lisa Murphy (Oklahoma City), and Michelle Davis (Grand Prairie, Texas)
He loved his family all who he considered his family. He leaves to cherish his memories a host of cousins and several great aunts, great uncles and friends.
