On July 28, 1925, a bundle of joy was delivered to Joe Farbes and Margaret Hill. The bundle of joy was a bouncing baby girl. They named her Josie Lee. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age, and was baptized at Grace Apostolic Temple where she was a long time member. He greatest joy in life was staying home caring for her grandchildren. Mrs. Childs' hobbies included painting pottery, and playing bingo in her living room with her children and grandchildren.

Josie Lee united in marriage to Mr. Charlie "JD" Childs. To this union, five children remain. 2 of her children, Thomas Edward Childs, and Lonnell Childs, preceded her in death, as well as her parents and husband. Remaining to cherish the precious memories Mrs. Childs left are; 3 children: JoAnn Childs, Charlie (Betty) Childs, and Elizabeth Lewis, a host of grandchildren, great-grand children, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as her first born grandchild, Denice (Willie) Smith, Tulsa, OK.
Mrs. Josie L. Childs, dozed into eternal slumber on Sunday morning, March 11, 2007 with her loving family near her side to witness.

The final tributes will be Friday, March 16, 2007 at 11AM, at Greater Grace Apostolic Temple in Tulsa. Visitation will be Thursday from 12Noon to 7PM at the funeral home in Tulsa.
